According to me for the condition of buses like this is due to many reasons some of them are cited below:
i) Inexperienced Govt officer who do not understand ABC of Buses.
II)Oil companies are not providing good quality of Fuel/Mobil
iii)15 years old vehicles as compared to new Euro 3 models are very less polluted which was proved.
iv)Increased in price of diesel constantly led the bus owner resulting poor condition of buses,as the does not increase fare in time.
v)Police case every day Rs 110/ is also one of the vital condition for poor maintenance of bus
vi)Public don’t even know that these wooden buses are so good during summer seasons preventing them from heat waves as compared from angel Buses.
vii) one of the vital reason for scraping these Buses is that Big bus manufacturer are suffering heavy losses like TATA, AShok Leyland etc they are giving constant pressure to the Govt/ High Court to scrap these buses so that new chassis could be sold.

You may be correct but still I feel, the right place of those wooden buses is the museum for the next generation.
